About Us
ROCC, originally the Resettlement of Offenders Co-ordinating Committee, was established in 1975 as an integral part of Hampshire Probation Service. The breadth of ROCC’s work extended rapidly to include work with housing organisations providing for a wide range of client groups.
In 1996 ROCC became an independent organisation and took charitable status. The charity now has an annual turnover of over £350,000 and recently (March 2006) achieved the Investors in People quality standard.
The consultancy service has developed to meet the needs of service providers facing ever changing pressures in the social care environment, and all trainers and consultants are independent yet carry the values of ROCC to enable services to develop their professional skills and portfolios.
In 2007, ROCC has a current membership in excess of 110 organisations and this continues to grow as ROCC further develops its information and advice, training and consultancy services to meet the needs of its many and varied stakeholders.
