Consultants Code of Conduct
- Comply with all aspects of the Contract and Schedule of Services, Equal Opportunity/Anti discriminatory Practice and Complaints Policies, and any other ROCC policies and procedures in place.
- Ensure that all communications are clear and directed to the appropriate (designated) person within ROCC.
- Ensure the CEO/Training and Development Manager is kept updated with progress/problems at agreed intervals.
- Be honest, open and constructive with all personnel involved in the work, including staff and service users.
- Treat all people they come into contact with, with respect and dignity.
- Ensure punctuality for all meetings and appointments.
- Negotiate appointments for mutually agreed times and places, and ensure sufficient notice is given for any cancellations.
- Ensure that all deadlines are met. If there is a possibility of slippage this should be discussed with the relevant ROCC party, i.e. CEO, or Training and Development Manager.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures of any organisation schemes/premises visited during the course of the work.
- Report any concerns regarding the efficacy/safety/viability of a scheme visited to the appropriate person within ROCC.
- Identify themselves as approved ROCC consultants/trainers in contact with any outside agencies/personnel, and ensure they are given a copy of the 'Values/Expectations/Quality' leaflet, including the ROCC phone number.
