Consultancy Projects Completed

ROCC has a long and varied history of consultancy projects completed. These have included work for all types and sizes of organisations, from individual services through to central government. The following table is indicative of the types of work carried out and for whom.

Central Government ROCC carried out a major piece of work for, what was then, the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister on "Consulting with hard to reach service users" This has since gone on to influence service user involvement strategy at both national, local and regional levels.
Authority Consortia Accreditation recommendations for SP services in eighteen London Boroughs, acting in three consortia, were provided by ROCC, in partnership with HGO Consultancy Ltd, through a system that received praise from both the Boroughs who commissioned the work and the Audit Commission.

Additionally ROCC has carried out both needs assessments and accommodation reviews for Authority Consortia throughout the South East.

Local Authorities ROCC consultancy work is most often carried out at this level and as such we have a great deal of experience in working with Authorities.

Work has included Strategic Reviews of individual services and whole client groups, Reviews and introduction of Service User Involvement programmes (see SURG pages), Value Improvement Projects as well as policy writing and consultation on other areas of provision.

Large Organisations Larger organisations have utilised the services ROCC can offer in numerous ways, from looking at specific services within the organisation to reviewing processes and policies that act across the entire breadth of the business.

Examples of work include reviews of support planning processes and usage, mock QAF and service review visits, Service User Involvement review and process development, Best Value reviews and strategic development reports.

Small Organisations Smaller organisations, whilst often requiring similar work to larger organisations, frequently request ROCC to provide many of the founding policies and procedures that can enable them to, firstly, gain and, secondly, keep funding and contracts with commissioners.

ROCC is aware of both the time and workload demands that are often placed on employees of smaller organisations and as such seeks to provide a more specifically holistic approach to contracts carried out so that the whole organisation can benefit from the work we carry out.

Other Consultants ROCC has consistently sought out and achieved high levels of partnership working with both Authorities and other consultants. ROCC has provided administrative support to consultants working on varied projects nationwide and is able to provide high quality support to both individuals and other companies
