ROCC Trading
Sitting as it does between providers and commissioners of services, ROCC is ideally, and independently, placed to provide support and consultancy to all those involved in the housing with support and care sector. With a recognised ability to bring excellence to all projects, however big or small, ROCC makes a real difference to organisations both today and for the future.
ROCC Trading Ltd (RTL) was set up in July 2004 to allow ROCC to expand its area of work both geographically and in the services it can offer. A trading Subsidiary of the main charity, ROCC is the only shareholder of RTL and all profits from the company are gifted aided to the Charity to aid its work with providers, commissioners and service users of Supported Housing services. RTL is managed by Nichola Goom who is also Chief Executive of the Charity.
Since its formation, RTL has provided services for over 20 Authorities, assessing providers against Supporting People accreditation criteria, carrying out other pieces of consultancy and working for both commissioners and providers of supported housing care and support. A particular focus of the work RTL carries out is the development of the supported housing sector and, whether working directly with providers or on behalf of Authorising Authorities, RTL strives to disseminate good practice, information and advice to all participants.
RTL can rely on all the support and expertise to be found in ROCC as well as access to a large number of high quality consultants. RTL also provides administrative support to consultants working in the Supported housing sector, working in partnership to deliver high quality, well researched outcomes.
Both ROCC and RTL offer advice and support in all areas of the housing with support and care sector. For example;
- QAF development
- Policy and procedure writing
- Key Performance Indicators
- Best Value Reviews
- Budgeting and cash flow forecasts
- Business Planning
- Service User involvement and consulting
- Preparation for Service Reviews
- Funding advice
RTL also provides support to the Czech Social Worker Programme through the hosting of Czechoslovakian Social Work Students who visit the UK to gain invaluable work experience within the sector.
Happy and able to work with its own consultants or in partnership with other organisations or Authorities, RTL is constantly on the look for new work and tendering opportunities.
