Course Aims and Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will have:
- Defined what we mean by risk assessment.
- Developed understanding of risks to staff and risks to service users.
- Shared and developed understanding of appropriate information sharing and recording in managing & minimising risks.
- Shared and developed awareness of safe lone working practices.
- Developed and awareness of minimum requirements of Support People Quality Assessment Framework (QAF) on managing risks and lone working.
- Discussed coping strategies in potentially difficult situations.
