Course Aims and Objectives
This day aims to provide delegates with a fresh perspective on recovery and is led by trainers who draw upon their personal recovery journey for inspiration. This course will cover:
- Putting Recovery at the Heart of all we do – What does this mean in practice?
- Recovery values such as hope, acceptance, mutual respect, diversity, inclusion, empowerment, choice, citizenship, person-centred, meaningfulness, partnership working, believing in people.
- The activity: ‘Where do I stand on Recovery?’
- Recovery versus Self-Management
- An introduction to ‘Measuring Recovery Outcomes’
- A brief look at WRAP and one of it’s spin offs; The Complete Recovery Action Plan
- What can we learn from an individual’s recovery journey? Do similar findings apply to all?
