Suitable for: This course aims to enable participants to increase their motivation, work effectiveness and productivity, achieve greater control over their daily activities and overcome stresses associated with the pressures of time and workloads.
Course Aims and Objectives
- Identify their own particular time-wasters and strategies for eliminating or avoiding them.
- Recognise causes of procrastination and apply techniques to overcome these.
- Clarify and prioritise objectives, goals and tasks.
- Adopt strategies for dealing with interruptions.
- Use effective techniques for approaching different types and size of tasks.
- Use practical methods to plan and organise work.
- Explore tactics for making the best use of time spent in meetings or other “non-productive” situations.
- Identify assertive options to say “no” and/or to delegate or share work or tasks with others.
