Course Aims and Objectives
By the end of the session participants will have considered:
- The range of behaviours that constitute domestic violence and abuse
- The effects of domestic violence and abuse on individuals and their families
- The complex issues involved in the decision to seek help
- The reasons why people stay in their homes or return to a violent or abusive relationship
- Equalities issues involved
- Their own working practice and identified action points
