Course Aims and Objectives
The course aims to help staff to motivate clients who misuse substances. It will examine staff attitudes to substance misuse and look at motivational techniques to enable clients to challenge and change their perspectives and behaviour.

Aaron Pycroft
Aaron is a senior lecturer in the Institute of Criminal Justice Studies at the University of Portsmouth. Prior to this he was for several years a manager of a drug and alcohol detox unit for a large Supported Housing provider.
