Suitable for: This one day course is ideal for professionals, particularly those who are in regular supportive roles of clients with Bipolar Disorder & Cyclothymiacs. This course is aimed at Primary Care Trust workers, Social workers, mental health nurses, hospital staff and students. This course is equally ideal for voluntary sector groups such as advocacy and citizen advice workers, and counselling staff, who may work alongside clients experiencing symptoms’ of associated mood disorders.
Course Aims and Objectives
To raise awareness, understanding and provide factual evidence about Bipolar Disorder, whilst dispelling myths surrounding this particular diagnosis. To also provide extensive insight into how people are affected by this psychiatric disorder which can affect the individual and surrounding support/caring networks. The course will cover:
