Suitable for: A course designed to enable project and support workers to provider practical support and guidance to clients with debt problems.
Course Aims and Objectives
By the end of the course participants will understand the general principles of debt management and will be equipped to:
- Differentiate between priority and non-priority debts.
- Identify emergency situations and take appropriate action.
- Respond to the most common County Court actions.
- Produce a simple financial statement.
- Negotiate successfully with creditors.
- Appreciate the different option, open to the client.
