Course Aims and Objectives
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Describe what the differences are between the different types of Self Directed Support Models and where they can be used.
- Know the key features of each of the models
- Describe the process of assessment and allocation of an Individual budget
- Describe opportunities for service users, providers and commissioners in relation to Self Directed Support
- Have examined future methods of Monitoring and ensuring Quality
- Consider ways to develop your own services/organisation to support the Individual Budget Programme in the future
