One of ROCC’s key roles is the representation of providers in the Housing, care and support fields. ROCC represents its members and other providers views locally at Inclusive Forums and core groups, regionally through Cross Authority working groups and nationally through ensuring the voice of providers is heard in national consultations.
ROCC provides an up to date service across all aspects affecting the housing with care and support field, particularly to its members but also to all providers, purchasers, commissioners and services users. This can be through:
- Briefings
- The monthly newsletter to members
- By arranging specific workshops
- The facilitation and chairing of regular forums
- Consultations
- Through specific training which may be across the sector or arranged for individual organisations.
The following pages give information on three main areas:
- Probation including National Offender Management Service
- Care including Registered Care Homes and the Commission for Social Care Inspection
- Supporting People, including national and regional news and information on all the regional forums.
ROCC will be able to comment and advise on recent, current or forthcoming legislation, policies and procedures or trends in the sector, both on a national and regional basis.
